Day by day itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
Welcome to Hanoi. We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. You can relax and settle in for the day. Take some time to adjust to the new time zone.
Day 2
Hanoi City Tour
Today we enjoy a full day tour of Hanoi. We visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. In the afternoon, we explore the Temple of Literature and the old quarter. We will take a cyclo ride around Hoan Kiem Lake and see a water puppet show.
Day 3
Ha Long Bay Cruise
After breakfast, we drive to Ha Long Bay. We will board our junk and enjoy lunch while cruising. There are chances to swim, kayak, or simply relax and take in the views. Dinner is served on board, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 4
Return from Ha Long Bay and Fly to Hue
We enjoy a relaxed brunch on the junk. Afterwards, we return to Hanoi airport for our flight to Hue. Once in Hue, you have the rest of the day free. You can relax at your hotel and prepare for tomorrow's adventures.
Day 5
Hue's History and River Cruise
Today we take a boat trip on the Huong River. We visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the Imperial Citadel. In the afternoon, we explore Emperor Tu Duc's Mausoleum. Then we head back to our hotel to relax.
Day 6
Danang and Hoi An Exploration
We drive to Danang and visit the Cham Museum. Afterwards, we continue to the charming old town of Hoi An. We take a walking tour and learn to make a traditional lantern. This is a lovely hands on experience.
Day 7
My Son and Free Time in Hoi An
We visit My Son, a UNESCO World Heritage site and former capital of the Champa Kingdom. We explore the ancient ruins and learn about their history. The afternoon is free to enjoy Hoi An at your own pace.
Day 8
Ho Chi Minh City Landmarks
Today we fly to Ho Chi Minh City. We will see sites like the Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. We also visit the Reunification Palace and colonial era buildings. You will get a good feel for the city's history.
Day 9
Mekong Delta Tour
We depart for My Tho in the Mekong Delta. We enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River. We stop at a fish farm and a traditional local house. We will taste local fruit and enjoy traditional live music before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10
Departure
You have the morning free for some final relaxation. We will then transfer you to the airport. We hope you have had a wonderful trip.
