Day by day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Exploring Historic Higashiyama

    We begin our Kyoto adventure at the famous Kiyomizu dera Temple, where you get great views of the city. Then, we will stroll through the charming Higashiyama district, full of traditional houses and shops. We will finish our day with a visit to Yasaka Shrine and a peaceful walk in Maruyama Park.

  2. Day 2

    Cultural Immersion in Fushimi Inari and Uji

    Today we explore the cultural heart of Kyoto, starting at the amazing Fushimi Inari Taisha and its many red gates. Later, we dive into Japanese tea culture in Uji, known for its tea farms and the historic Byodoin Temple.

  3. Day 3

    Imperial Majesty and Arashiyama Tranquility

    We will explore Kyoto's imperial past by visiting Nijo Castle and the peaceful Imperial Palace gardens. Then, we experience the calm of Arashiyama, where we can walk through the famous Bamboo Grove and see the scenic Togetsukyo Bridge.

  4. Day 4

    Artistic Heritage of Kinkaku ji and Gion Delights

    We discover Kyoto's artistic side with visits to the Golden Pavilion, Kinkaku ji, and Ryoan ji Temple's Zen rock garden. In the afternoon, we explore the historic Gion district, known for its traditional tea houses and the chance to spot geisha.

  5. Day 5

    Day Trip to Nara: Temples, Deer, and History

    Today we take a day trip to Nara, a short train ride away. We will see the impressive Todai ji Temple and its Great Buddha, explore the peaceful Nara Park, and wander through the charming streets of Naramachi.
