Day by day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrive and Explore the City

    When you arrive in Kuala Lumpur, check in to your hotel and settle down. Spend the afternoon seeing the city's famous landmarks. Start with the Petronas Twin Towers. Take a walk through KLCC Park and admire the buildings. Then head to Bukit Bintang for shopping and food. In the evening, try delicious Malaysian food at a local restaurant.

  2. Day 2

    Culture in Chinatown

    Begin your day in Kuala Lumpur's lively Chinatown. Explore the colourful streets with traditional shops. You can look for souvenirs and try real Chinese treats. Do not miss the historic Sri Mahamariamman Temple and the busy Central Market. You can buy local art and crafts there. In the evening, eat at a local place and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

  3. Day 3

    Nature and History at Batu Caves

    Go on a day trip to the famous Batu Caves, just outside Kuala Lumpur. Climb 272 steps to reach the stunning limestone caves. They have colourful Hindu shrines and statues inside. Explore the cave temples and learn about their meaning. Then visit the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory to see traditional craftsmanship. Come back to Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon and have a free evening.

  4. Day 4

    City Green Space at Lake Gardens

    Spend the day in Kuala Lumpur's green area, Lake Gardens. Start your morning with a relaxed walk around the pretty lake. It is surrounded by green plants and tropical gardens. Visit the KL Bird Park to see many kinds of birds. Then go to the Butterfly Park to see colourful butterflies in their home. After this, explore the nearby National Mosque and Islamic Arts Museum. Then return to the city centre for dinner.

    Shopping at Suria KLCC

    Enjoy a day of shopping at Suria KLCC. It is one of Kuala Lumpur's best shopping spots. Look through many international and local brands, from luxury shops to department stores. You can also shop tax free at the duty free shops. Take a break for lunch at one of the mall's many restaurants or cafes. Then continue your shopping. In the evening, see an amazing view of the city from the KL Tower observation deck.

  6. Day 6

    Day Trip to Malacca

    Go on a day trip to the old city of Malacca. It is only a few hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage listed old town. It has charming old buildings, ancient temples, and busy markets. See famous places like St Paul's Hill, the Famosa fortress, and the lively Jonker Street. This street is known for its antique shops and street food. Come back to Kuala Lumpur in the evening and have a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

  7. Day 7

    Departure

    After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Then transfer to the airport for your journey home. You will leave Kuala Lumpur with happy memories of your time in this exciting city.
