We start with two nights in Tokyo, a truly buzzing city where modern life meets old traditions. Then you will set sail on a wonderful ten night cruise. You will see beautiful coastlines and visit charming ports. We finish our trip with two nights in Seoul, a vibrant city where you can discover amazing food and historical sites. This is a holiday filled with discovery and relaxation.

Day by day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Welcome to Tokyo

    We arrive in Tokyo and transfer to your hotel. Settle into your lovely room with city views. In the evening, you could take a walk in Shinjuku or enjoy some fresh sushi for dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Tokyo and Mount Fuji

    After breakfast, we head out on a full day tour to Mount Fuji and Hakone. You will see incredible views and explore the hot springs. We return to Tokyo by bullet train, which is a fun experience.

  3. Day 3

    Set Sail on Norwegian Spirit

    This morning we transfer to the Tokyo cruise terminal. You will board the Norwegian Spirit and get to know your comfortable cabin. Enjoy a welcome reception and dinner with ocean views.

  4. Day 4

    Mount Fuji Shimizu, Japan

    We dock in Shimizu today, known for its amazing views of Mount Fuji. You can explore local markets and tea houses, or visit Nihondaira Plateau for panoramic scenery. Return to the ship for an evening of entertainment.

  5. Day 5

    Nagoya, Japan

    Today we visit Nagoya Castle, a beautiful example of samurai architecture. You can explore the Osu Shopping District for traditional crafts and shops. Try some local food like hitsumabushi, which is grilled eel.

  6. Day 6

    Kyoto Kobe, Japan

    You can discover Kyoto's famous temples and gardens today. Or take a day trip to Nara's deer park. In Kobe, stroll by the harbour and try the famous Kobe beef.

  7. Day 7

    Tokushima, Japan

    Today we explore Tokushima's Naruto Whirlpools by boat. You could also visit the historic Awa Odori Kaikan museum. Experience local arts or hike some scenic trails nearby.

  8. Day 8

    Matsuyama, Japan

    We will tour Matsuyama Castle for wonderful city views. You can visit Dogo Onsen, one of Japan's oldest hot springs. Enjoy a traditional Japanese tea ceremony on shore or onboard.

  9. Day 9

    Beppu, Japan

    Explore Beppu's famous hot spring 'Hells' today. These are colourful geothermal pools with bubbling mud. You could relax in an onsen bath or try some local street food specialties.

  10. Day 10

    Cruise Kanmon Strait, Japan

    Today we cruise through the scenic Kanmon Strait. This is between Honshu and Kyushu islands. You can attend onboard talks about Japanese and Korean cultures. Enjoy a special themed dinner celebrating our journey so far.

  11. Day 11

    Nagasaki Sasebo, Japan

    We visit Nagasaki's Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. This is a place for quiet reflection. Explore the charming Dutch Slope district. In Sasebo, try local seafood and walk around the port area.

  12. Day 12

    Jeju, South Korea

    Discover Jeju's natural wonders today. These include lava tubes, waterfalls, and volcanic craters. Visit Jeju Folk Village or hike some scenic trails. Sample Jeju black pork or fresh seafood.

  13. Day 13

    Seoul, South Korea

    We disembark and transfer to the Conrad Seoul hotel. You can explore vibrant areas like Myeongdong or Insadong. There is an optional evening cultural show or Korean BBQ dinner.

  14. Day 14

    History and DMZ Tour

    After breakfast, we go on a full day DMZ Tour. Visit the Demilitarized Zone and see the Third Tunnel. You will learn about Korean history. There is an optional stop at the iconic Red Suspension Bridge.

  15. Day 15

    Farewell

    Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the luxurious Conrad Seoul. You will have time for some last minute shopping. Reflect on your amazing journey before we transfer you to Incheon International Airport.
