Day by day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrive in Shanghai

   When you arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, a friendly local will meet you. They will take you to your luxurious five star hotel, where you can check in and settle down. Spend some time relaxing and getting a feel for the city's energy.

2. Day 2

   City Tour and Yu Garden

   After breakfast, we will visit The Bund, Shanghai's famous waterfront, with views of old buildings and modern skyscrapers. Then we explore Yu Garden, a beautiful Chinese garden, and the nearby busy market. Later, we walk along Nanjing Road, a shopping street full of Chinese New Year decorations, and enjoy a traditional tea ceremony.

3. Day 3

   Shanghai Disneyland or Cultural Adventure

   Today you can choose between a full day at Shanghai Disneyland or a cultural adventure. Disneyland has themed areas, exciting rides, and magical shows, with special festive decorations. If you choose the cultural adventure, you will explore more of Shanghai's heritage, perhaps visiting a museum or a local art district.

4. Day 4

   Zhujiajiao Water Town and Banquet

   After breakfast, we travel to Zhujiajiao Water Town, a charming old town with canals and stone bridges. We will enjoy a relaxing boat ride and explore local markets and craft shops. In the evening, we will have a royal banquet with a Chinese cultural show, featuring music, dance, and festive foods.

5. Day 5

   Modern Shanghai and Shopping

   Today we visit Shanghai Tower for amazing views of the city from the observation deck. Then we explore the Shanghai Museum, full of Chinese art and history. You will have time to shop for unique souvenirs at Xintiandi and Tianzifang, which mix modern style with old buildings.

6. Day 6

   Depart Shanghai

   After breakfast, we check out of the hotel. You will be transferred to Shanghai Pudong International Airport for your flight back to the UK. You will take home many wonderful memories of Shanghai's lively Chinese New Year celebrations.
