Day by day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Welcome to Beijing

   Arrive in Beijing and make your way to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy some free time to relax after your journey. You might like to explore the local area or enjoy your first taste of Chinese food for dinner.

2. Day 2

   Great Wall Adventure

   Today we head out for a full day tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall. You will enjoy a guided five kilometre hike along this spectacular section of the wall, taking an uphill cable car for amazing views. After returning to Beijing, you can explore Wangfujing Street in the evening.

3. Day 3

   Beijing's Culture and History

   Explore more of Beijing today, starting with a walking tour of Tiananmen Square. We will also visit the charming hutong alleyways, learning about traditional Beijing life. You will have time for some optional shopping before enjoying dinner and Beijing's nightlife.

4. Day 4

   Fly to Xi'an

   After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Xi'an, one of China's oldest capitals. Check into your five star hotel and then you have time to relax or explore. We suggest a visit to the Ancient City Wall or the lively Muslim Quarter.

5. Day 5

   Terracotta Warriors Tour

   Today is dedicated to discovering the incredible Terracotta Army. You will see thousands of life size warrior figures and learn about China's first emperor. After returning to Xi'an, you will have free time for shopping or to enjoy local food and cultural performances.

6. Day 6

   On to Shanghai

   After breakfast, we take an internal flight to Shanghai, China's most modern city. Settle into your hotel and then you are free to explore. You might want to see Shanghai's famous skyline for the first time.

7. Day 7

   Shanghai City and Water Town

   Enjoy a full day guided tour of Shanghai today. We will visit Yu Garden, Shanghai Old Street, and the famous Bund waterfront. Later, we travel to Zhujiajiao Water Town to see its picturesque canals and traditional life.

8. Day 8

   Shanghai at Leisure

   Today is yours to explore Shanghai at your own pace. You could shop on Nanjing Road, visit a museum, or enjoy panoramic views from an observation deck. Consider a farewell dinner or exploring Shanghai's nightlife.

9. Day 9

   Departure from Shanghai

   After breakfast and check out, a private transfer will take you to Shanghai airport for your return flight. We hope you have enjoyed your unforgettable journey through China's past and present. You will leave with wonderful memories of this amazing country.
