We invite you to experience an amazing California escape. This seven night trip is full of magic, adventure, and coastal charm. We start with three nights in Anaheim, close to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. You can enjoy classic rides, tasty churros, and fantastic fireworks displays. Next, we head to San Diego for four nights by the water. You can discover the world famous San Diego Zoo, relax on beautiful beaches, and explore the Gaslamp Quarter. This trip mixes family fun, seaside calm, and that special California feeling.

Day by day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Welcome to Anaheim, Gateway to the Magic

   We arrive in Anaheim and check into our hotel, the Travelodge Inn and Suites by Wyndham Anaheim Disneyland. We will unpack and get settled. Then we can head out to explore Downtown Disney, browsing the shops and enjoying the street performances. We can have dinner at a fun, themed restaurant nearby.

2. Day 2

   Disneyland Dreams Come True

   After breakfast, we get ready for a full day at Disneyland Park. We can ride classic attractions and meet Disney characters. We will watch live shows and enjoy lunch at one of Disneyland's themed restaurants. We will end the magical day with Disneyland's spectacular fireworks show.

3. Day 3

   Disney California Adventure Thrills

   We fuel up with breakfast before heading out to Disney California Adventure Park. We will experience thrilling rides like Radiator Springs Racers and Incredicoaster. We can snack our way through the park and explore Pixar Pier. We will enjoy the World of Colour water and light show.

4. Day 4

   Scenic Rail to San Diego

   We check out of our Anaheim hotel and board our scenic train to San Diego, admiring Pacific Ocean views along the way. Upon arrival, we check into the InterContinental San Diego, located right on the waterfront. We can unwind and take in the bay views, then enjoy an evening stroll along the Embarcadero and have dinner at a charming Seaport Village restaurant.

5. Day 5

   San Diego Zoo and Balboa Beauty

   Today we head to Balboa Park for a day of exploration. We visit the world famous San Diego Zoo, seeing over 12,000 animals and riding the Skyfari Aerial Tram for aerial views. We can explore Balboa Park's beautiful gardens and select museums. We finish the day dining in the stylish Gaslamp Quarter, known for its vibrant restaurants and bars.

6. Day 6

   La Jolla Coastline and Kayaking Adventure

   Today we travel to picturesque La Jolla for a guided kayaking tour through sea caves and along dramatic cliffs. We might spot marine life like sea lions. Afterwards, we can relax at La Jolla Cove, perfect for sunbathing and exploring tide pools, or walk along the coastal trails to enjoy stunning ocean views. We will enjoy a leisurely oceanfront dinner with sunset views before returning to San Diego.

7. Day 7

   USS Midway and Harbour Cruise

   We start our day visiting the historic USS Midway Museum, exploring aircraft displays and the flight deck. Later, we take a one hour harbour cruise to see the city from the water, passing landmarks like the Coronado Bridge. We spend the afternoon exploring shops and cafes, and then head back to the Gaslamp Quarter for a final dinner celebration, reflecting on our trip's highlights.

8. Day 8

   Farewell, Southern California

   We wake up and enjoy a relaxed breakfast. We can relax at the hotel or take a final walk along the waterfront. We check out and head to the airport for our flight home. We say goodbye to the sun, surf, and all the magical memories we have made.
