Come with us to China for a tale of two cities. We start in Beijing, the capital. This city has lots of history and culture to discover. Think Forbidden City and the Great Wall. It shows you China's past. Then we go to Shanghai, China's biggest city. It is very modern, with tall buildings and great shopping. It has a lively, global feel. This trip gives you a great mix of old traditions and new sophistication.

Best season: Spring and autumn offer pleasant weather for exploring.

Day by day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrive in Beijing

   Welcome to Beijing. We will meet you at the airport and take you to your four star hotel. Settle in and then maybe take a walk to explore the local area.

2. Day 2

   The Great Wall

   Today we visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. It is very scenic. We will take a cable car up and then walk 5 kilometres along the wall, learning about its history.

3. Day 3

   Beijing's Culture

   We will visit the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace. Then we explore the traditional hutongs and some local markets. You will see both old and new Beijing today.

4. Day 4

   High Speed Train to Shanghai

   We take a high speed train to Shanghai today. Enjoy the changing views from your window. In Shanghai, we check into our hotel. Then we explore The Bund with its amazing skyline views.

5. Day 5

   Shanghai by Night

   Relax today or explore more of Shanghai. This evening we take a magical cruise along the Huangpu River. You will see the city lights and the famous Oriental Pearl Tower all lit up.

6. Day 6

   Depart from Shanghai

   Enjoy breakfast and some free time. You might want to do some last minute shopping. We will take you to the airport for your flight home. We hope you had a wonderful trip.
